Samsung Galaxy A55 to be powered by Exynos 1480 chipset: Details

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S24 series in January next year, along with the successor to the Galaxy A54, the Galaxy A55. The Galaxy A55 will be powered by the new Exynos 1480 chipset, which is expected to offer better multi-core performance than the Exynos 1380. The Exynos 1480 will feature four high-performance CPU cores clocked at 2.75GHz and four power-efficient cores clocked at 2.05GHz. It will also come with the RDNA2-based Xclipse 530 GPU, providing improved graphics performance compared to the previous generation. Other specifications include a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
