Apple announces new partnership to boost its ‘made in USA’ plans

Apple announces it will be the first and biggest customer of the new $2B Amkor manufacturing and packaging facility in Peoria, Arizona. The facility will package Apple silicon produced at the nearby TSMC fab. Amkor is building the largest outsourced advanced packaging facility in the US, covering 55 acres with over 500,000 square feet of cleanroom space.
